She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Edwards; and her children, James A. Haynes, Jr. (Kathy), Linda H., Gloria A., Catherine Howard (Gerald), Christine Solomon (Barry), Rodney Haynes, Sr. (Andrea), Rickey Haynes (Melinda) and Moses Haynes.

She is survived by: her sisters, Bertha Slaton of Atlanta, GA, Earlene Redfield of Springfield, MA and Mozelle Manor of Decatur, GA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and friends.
