He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe H. Schuman and Louree Brunson Schuman. He is survived by: his wife Madge Hinely Schuman; his children, Drew Schuman (Suzanne) and Deanne Volkert (Phil); his grandchildren, Ashton Hogan (Gary), Austin Volkert and Haley Wiley (Chipper); his great grandchildren, Aiden Volkert, Blake Work and Camden Hogan; and his siblings, Hal Schuman (Tina) and Margaret Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the American Heart Association.
