He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark McClellion and Mary Hall McClellion; his wife Betty Alleen McClellion; his son Tony Carol McClellion; and his grandsons, David Carlton Burton and Charlie McClellion.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Ann Burton (Ben) of Ellabell, GA, Melvin McClellion Jr. (Flo) of Mauldin, SC, Kenneth McClellion (Paula) of Ellabell, GA and Susan Poole (Joel) of Enoree, SC; his sisters, Ann Babson of Mauldin, SC and Patricia Tucker of Mauldin, SC; and his grandchildren, Jason Griffith, Jonathan Bridges, Stephen Burton, Chelsie Griffith, Melvin McClellion III, Kitty Collins, Amanda McClellion, Kenneth McClellion Jr., Ryan McClellion, Justin Poole, Cody Poole and Brooklyn Leopard. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
