She is survived by: her husband Dewey Sims of Black Creek; her son Michael Sims of Ellabell; her daughter-in-law Malissa Sims of Ellabell; her daughter Stephanie Sims (Shawn Cornell); her grandson Dalton Sims (McKenzie Smith); her great grandchild Jesse Smith; her sisters-in-law, Vernon Sims, Tera Sims of Black Creek, Clara Nell Sims of Black Creek, Pat Akins of Black Creek and Willie Hodges of Hinesville; and her friend Dianne Futch. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
