He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brooks and Dorothy Cook Brooks; and his brother Howard Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Pike Brooks of Henderson; his sons, Billy Brooks (Andi) of Henderson and Travis Brooks of Baconton; his grandchildren, Faith Brooks, Belle Brooks, Kate Brooks and Ian Brooks (Samantha); his great grandchild Brayden Brooks; and his sister Lucy Edwards (Randy).
