He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Jones and Pauline Eaton Jones; his granddaughter Destiny Jones; and his siblings, Jimmy Jones, Betty Daniel, Jake Jones, Paul Jones, Steve Jones and Charlie Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Elaine Thornton Jones; his daughters, Pam Comer of Jefferson, GA, Allison Jones of Greenville, SC, Krystal (Manuel Partain) and Laney (Eugene Partain); his siblings, Ruth Saxon of Athens, GA, Larry Jones of Ninety Six, SC and Raymond Jones of Dewy Rose, GA; his grandchildren, Danielle, Chad Pitts, Christopher Dorsey, Madison Comer, Will Partain, Ben Partain and Logan Partain; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Dorsey, Cadence Pitts and Elliott Pitts. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
