He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Calhoun and Geneva Calhoun; his son Barry Keith Calhoun; and his brothers, James P. Calhoun, Jr., Drayton Calhoun and John C. Calhoun.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah F. Calhoun; his sons, Richard M. Calhoun (Angela) of Stone Mountain, GA and Timothy L. Calhoun (Kristy) of Douglasville, GA; his siblings, Herman Calhoun (Sandi) and Mary Ford; his grandchildren, Reginald Calhoun, Aaron Calhoun, Timothy L. Calhoun, Jr., Jordan Thomas and Bryce Calhoun; and his great grandchildren, Laila, Amaya and Jason Xavier Calhoun. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mack's Funeral Home, Elberton Chapel (320 College Ave, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Norman Grove C. M. E. Church (2251 Hartwell Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the same location.
