She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Pierce and Mae Willie Scogin Pierce; her husband Emory Nelson Mize; and her daughter Rhonda Mize Compton. She is survived by: her son Pierce Mize of Royston, GA; her siblings, Mildred Vaughn of Bowman, GA, Shirley Gillam of Piedmont, SC, Dell Harr of Stem, NC and Leon Pierce of Dewy Rose, GA; her grandchildren, Luke Mize (Cassie), Emily Mize and Isaac Mize; and her great grandchild Wyatt Mize. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Flowers are optional and memorials can be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice.
