He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon E Vaughn and Inez Turman Vaughn; and his sister Joanne Vaughn Moore. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burden Vaughn; his sons, Timothy David Vaughn and Paul Vernon Vaughn (Michelle); his granddaughter Taylor Vaughn; and his siblings, Calvin Vaughn, Curtis Vaughn, Bobby Vaughn, Beth Oglesby and Mary Ann Bradford.
