It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Frances Menendez (Elberton, Georgia), born in Plant City, Florida, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nathan Bodie and Votie Idell Cooper; and her husband Antonio Menedez, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Carol (Mike Franklin), Vivian (Randall Harris) and Antonio; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Menendez, Jr. of Elberton, GA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
