He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debbie Vickery Shirley; his parents, Billy Samuel Shirley and Novil Cobb Shirley; his children, Ethan Shirley (Miranda) of Elberton, Morgan Floyd (Truett) of Tampa, FL and Josh Simmons (Stephanie) of Bowman; his grandchildren, Paisley Floyd, Eleanor Floyd, Ellie Simmons, Skyler Shirley, Henry Floyd, Clara Floyd, Jaxton Shirley and Aspen Shirley; his siblings, Donna Kerns, Debbie Hill (Terry), Sharon Pawelski (Eric), Todd Shirley and James Shirley (Melissa); and his parents-in-law, Jimmy and Rebecca Vickery. He was also cherished by his wife, three children, and eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
