She was predeceased by: her parents, Webb Tatum, Sr. and Grace Kell Tatum; her husband Matthew W. Kantala, Jr.; her siblings, Webb Tatum, Jr. and Betty Jo Tatum Buchanan; her daughter Carol Kantala Burns; her grandson Matthew Kantala IV; and her great grandchild Grant Terrell.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Kantala III (Ethel) and Carin Kantala (Russ). She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and existing protocols, there will be no formal visitation.
