He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Goodman and Hester Poole Murdock; his former wife Charlena Tanner Murdock; and his daughters, Teresa Collins and Debra Taylor (Glenn).
He is survived by: his wife Sue Cochran Turner; his son Phillip Murdock (Elaina); his stepchildren, David Johnson (Dee Dee) and Leslie Ray (Sam); his grandchildren, Maddy Murdock, Laney Murdock, Charley Taylor (Chris Brechbiel), Alison Whitted (Sims), Katie Samarel (Ethan) and Zach Taylor (Britt); his stepgrandchildren, Albah Ray and Skyler Johnson; and his brothers, Jerry Murdock, Gilmer Murdock, Graham Murdock and Johnny Murdock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
