He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Scarborough and Frances Morris Scarborough; and his son Terry Alonzo Scarborough. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Newton Scarborough; his sons, Amos Buice Scarborough, Robert Morris "Bobby" Scarborough, Jr. and Travis Lee Scarborough; and his siblings, Joe Scarborough and Mary Lee Scarborough Saxon. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
