He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Swift Rhodes and Sarah Rachel Vaughn Rhodes; his siblings, William Thomas Rhodes and Barbara; and his brother-in-law Wayne Childs.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Teasley of Elberton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Falling Creek Baptist Church (1020 Jack McVeigh Dr, Elberton, GA 30635). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (1642 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635).
