She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Travis Kay; her parents, James Edward Sanders and Montee Turner Sanders; her son Larry Joe Kay; and her brother Leo Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Lee Kay of Elberton, David Alan Kay of Sugar Hill and Toni Annette Kay Grimes of Comer; and her grandchildren, Richard Dale Grimes, Dawn of Anderson, SC, Jessica Kay Quinn and Justin of Royston. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters.
