She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Hilley and Rachel King Hilley Segars; and her sister Connie Sayer. She is survived by: her husband Franklin D. Sanders; her children, James David Sanders (Tracy) of Hartwell, Gregory Cain Sanders (April) of Hartwell and Angela S. McGee (Nick) of Hartwell; her sister Dianne Bryant (Aaron) of Hartwell; and her grandchildren, Sadie Blackmon, Audrey McGee, Kolby Sanders and Sydney Sanders. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
