She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Strickland; her parents, Doyle Ray Peeples and Daisy Mae Woods Peeples; her daughter Susan Marie Strickland; and her siblings, Katie Myerholtz, R. C. Brake, Peggy Lawrence, Otis Peeples and Jack Donald Peeples.
She is survived by: her son Walter Terry Strickland of Canon; her siblings, Harvey Peeples of Royston, Darlene Stoyle of Bowersville, Emma Dowell of Royston and Betty Jean Crocker of Hartwell; and her grandchildren, Brittany Palmer, Brandy Stanley, Summer Strickland Garret Strickland and Corey Strickland. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
