It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Ward of Elberton, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on November 3, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morgan Ward and Mary Calhoun Ward; and her siblings, James Danford Ward (Sylvia) and Lanita Ward Phillips. She is survived by: her husband Charles Mann; her children, Greg Mann of Elberton and Julie Mann of Augusta; her grandchildren, Mary Roberts of Atlanta, Will Mann of St. Simons Island, Ben Mann of Elberton, Grace Dejean of Atlanta, Pate Mann of Atlanta and Charlsie Mann of Macon; her great grandchildren, Millie Roberts, Francie Mann, Bennett Roberts and Patton Mann; and her brother-in-law Edward Phillips of Elberton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Flowers are greatly appreciated by the family, and those wishing may make contributions in her memory to First United Methodist Church of Elberton, 132 E. Church Street, Elberton, Georgia 30635.
