It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Lou Britt Jones (Elberton, Georgia), born in Snellville, Georgia, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clifford Britt and Bernice Helen Maddox Britt; and her sister Helen Britt Hancock Powell. She is survived by: her husband Harold Hudson Jones, Jr.; her children, Mary Martha Jones Fendley and Harold Hudson Jones, III; her grandson Kevin Michael Fendley; and her siblings, Laurie Britt and Clark Britt (Carol).
Due to COVID-19, a private family funeral service celebrating Martha's life was held on Sunday, February 28, at 2:00p. m. from the Sanctuary of Elberton First Presbyterian Church.
