He was predeceased by: his father John Fernandez. He is survived by: his wife Iris E. Fernandez; his children, Carol Fernandez (Nick) of Hartwell and Vince Fernandez (Tina) of Elberton; his grandchildren, Zach York (Katie) of Hartwell, Eli York (Madison) of Hartwell, Alex Fernandez (Bailey) of Cumming and Bella Thomas (Colby) of Ft. Benning; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Miller York and Landry Malone York; and his siblings, Joe Fernandez (Katherine), John Fernandez (Susan) and Louise Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
