He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hood Sr. and Robbie Hood; his daughter Maple Hood; and his siblings, Willie Hood, Robert Hood, Jimmy Hood and Deborah Heard.
He is survived by: his wife Mychael Hood; his daughters, Adrian Hood and Susan Hill (Roy); his stepdaughters, Briana Mattison, Gabrielle Bryant and Camillya Bryant; his siblings, Early Frank Hood (Teresa), Ronnie Hood (Mildred), Robbie L. Powers, JoAnn Hood and Emma Thornton; his grandchildren, Stetravis Echols, Brianna Hood, Manesha Rucker, Lenesha Rucker, Dyami Bryant, Jayden Austin and Mikayla Bryant; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Mattison (Naomi), Charles Mattison (Patricia) and Beverlyn Hardy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mack's Funeral Home, Elberton Chapel (320 College Ave, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:45 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Cooper Veteran Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
