He was predeceased by: his wife Susie Laurel Dunn Saxon; his parents, J. C. Saxon and Blanche Smith Saxon; and his son Larry Clint Saxon. He is survived by: his children, Steven Saxon of Carlton and Teresa Saxon of Winder; and his brother Leon Saxon of Elberton. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
