She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Walter Attaway; her parents, Earnest Tillman Jones and Elizabeth Payton Jones; her son James Cox "Jimmy" Attaway; and her brothers, Alton "Sonny" Jones, Conrad Jones, Pat Jones, Allen Jones and Ben Jones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Jones of Elberton and Mayo Shedd of Augusta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
