He was predeceased by: his father Zachariah Rucker; and his brother Moses Rucker. He is survived by: his mother Jezzie Rucker; his children, Johnny Jr., Latange and Austin; and his siblings, Rose Hardman, Barbara Willis (Stanley), Zack Rucker (Brandon), Charles Rucker (Alma) and Aubrey D. Rucker. He is also survived by five nephews, three nieces, several great nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
