With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Payne Constantineau Brown of Elberton, Georgia, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Sarah Boozer and Howard Payne; her husband Donald McCarty Brown; her children, David Martin Brown, Donald McCarty Brown, Jr. (Jane) of North Carolina, Constance Brown Worley (Frank) of Saint Simons Island, Georgia and Jenelle Louise Brown McConnell (Jackson) of Elberton; and her daughter-in-law Pamela Albertson Brown of Elberton. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
