He was predeceased by: his father James David Beasley; and his siblings, Jerry Beasley, Mickey Beasley, Danny Beasley, Hank Beasley, Linda Beasley, Faye Carey and Sadie Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Beasley; his daughter Cathy Roper (Kent) of Simpsonville; his sister Wanda Harrison (Bobby) of Elberton; and his grandchildren, Lauren Kate Roper and Christopher Garrett Roper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
