With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Anthony Blackburn (Elberton, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Vance Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Jean Autry Blackburn; his mother Pearl Goss Blackburn; his sons, Anthony Jason Blackburn of Carlton, GA and Shannon Matthew Blackburn of Crestview, FL; his siblings, David Blackburn of Alto, GA, Tim Blackburn of Alto, GA and Libby Gragg of Cornelia, GA; and his grandchildren, Taylor, CJ, Emilee, Dustin, Brent, Zack and Madison. He is also survived by one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (1642 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635).
