It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeane C. Phelps of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jeane C. Phelps to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Clinkscales and Daisy Smith Clinkscales; her husband Crayton Phelps; and her son-in-law Sandy Hover. She is survived by: her son Chris Phelps; her daughter-in-law Pamelia Jo; her daughter Kim Phelps Hover; her grandchildren, Wesley Phelps (Meredith), Jeana Phelps Henderson (Matt), Heath Hover (Ashley) and Haley Hover Hymer (Gregory); and her great grandchildren, Nolan Henderson, Logan Phelps, Chloe Henderson, Sadie Phelps and Brooks Hover.

Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and existing protocols, there was no formal visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of the Elberton First United Methodist Church; P.O. Box 398, Elberton, GA 30635.
