He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Floyd Black, Sr. and Annie Lou Mattox Black; his siblings, Willie Floyd Black, Jr., Melvin Lee Black, Charles Bailey Black, Wilma Louise Thomas and Peggy Joyce Black; his son Terry Black; and his siblings, Stewart Wayne Black of Jackson, GA, Barbara Jean Winn of Elberton, GA, Allen Mattox Black of Elberton, GA, Mary Anne Worley of Elberton, GA and Robert Dwight Black of Elberton, GA..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Driver Black of Elberton, GA; his children, Barry Black of Elberton, GA, Sheila Bryant (Todd) of Bowman, GA, Douglas Black of Elberton, GA and Leslie White of Gainesville, GA; his daughter-in-law Melissa Black of Hartwell, GA; and his grandchildren, Terry Middleton, Ashley Linder, Christopher Black, Nicholas Black, Casey Black, Morgan Black, Jasey White, Madison York and Mattie White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
