He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Jo Ayers Bowen; his children, James Clinton "Clint" Bowen and Mona Anne Bowen Lunsford; and his sister-in-law Karen Flowers Phillips. He is survived by: his father James Wilson Bowen, Sr.; his wife Mary Eileen Flowers Bowen; his children, Christopher'Paul'Bowen of Elberton and Robin Flowers Warren (Aaron) of Bowman; his children-in-law, Jarred Lunsford of Dewy Rose and Sarah Bowen of Palm Bay, FL; his grandchildren, Hannah Louise Brown (CJ) of Elberton, Mary Grace Lunsford of Colbert, James Wyatt Bowen of Seneca, SC, Anna Jo Rachel Bowen of Seneca, SC, Alexandra Marie Bowen of Palm Bay, FL, Hadley Page Bowen of Palm Bay, FL and Penelope Joy Bowen of Palm Bay, FL; his great grandchildren, Rielyn Grace Brown of Elberton and Colton Thomas Brown of Elberton; and his siblings, Joan Bowen Mauldin of Bowman, Roger Bowen of Goldmine Community, Andy Bowen of Bowman and Mark Bowen (Cindy) of Milledgeville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
