He was predeceased by: his father Larry Walter Childers; and his grandparents, Effie Brooks, Clifford Davis, Zula and Walter Childers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mandy Childers and Christy Childers; his mother Shirley Zimmerman (Larry); his sisters, Debbie Fekete (Rom) and Peggy Andrews (Allen); his close friend Cindy Nash; his nieces, Sherry Collins, Terri Standard, Kayla Campbell and Stacey Seymour; and his pets, Doodle Bug, Tink and Maggie. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
