He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth C. Tate; his daughter Yolanda Tate; his daughter-in-law Shanta Tate; his grandchildren, Keithshun Tate, Isiah Snow, Zaven Tate, Jason Bowman (Miya), Zacheanna Tate and Nitia Fortson; his brothers, Lera Tate (Donna) and Mitchell Earl Tate; and his brother-in-law Leonard Blackwell.
