He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Stephens Banks and Mary Lou Verner Banks; and his sister Imogene Banks Caudell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Webb Banks; his children, Karey of Elberton, Michael Coombs of Elberton, Stephen of Elberton and Kathy Banks of Elberton; and his grandchildren, Turner Banks, Allie Cohen, Eliza, Colin Glover, Emily Cohen, Dalton Cohen, Brooks Banks and Ellie Coombs.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home (1 Berry Lane, ELBERTON, GA 30635). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Doves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1971 Athens Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635).
