We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2022, at the age of 78, James Douglas Almond Sr. of Elberton, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Dallas Almond; and his brothers, Kenneth Almond and Jack Almond. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Almond; his children, Sherry Demers (Gary), Terri Almond, James Almond, Jr. (Rita), Sonya Johnson (Danny) and Jamie Smith; and his siblings, Brenda Haynie, Danny Almond (Carol) and Tammy Almond. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
