He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lt. James A. Jr. Scott and Alice C. Scott; his wife Kelly Blair Scott; his children, J. Schell Scott of Denver, CO, James Armitt Scott IV (Kathie) of Elberton, GA, Lacy Scott Wyant (Mike) of Grants Pass, OR and Russell T. Scott (Brette); and his brothers, Vince Scott of Paradox, CO and Alan Scott (Shirley) of Scottsdale, AZ.. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
