We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2022, at the age of 76, Jackson Phillip Busby of Elberton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lee Busby and Fenora Eugenia Jones Busby; his grandparents, Jake, Ruby Jones, JP and Clara Busby; his sister Brenda Hatcher; and his brother-in-law Larry Blackmon.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Linda 'Scoggins Busby; his daughters, Jenny Ridgway (Scott) of Powder Springs and Jill Beal (Alex) of Gulf Shores, AL; his stepchildren, Hope Smith (Curtis) of Winder, Lee Kelley of Elberton, Vince Kelley (Vickie) of Lexington, KY and Kim Jordan (Grant) of Bowman; his sisters, Judy Blackmon of Elberton and Becky Roberts (Tony) of Elberton; his grandchildren, Andrew, Regan Ridgway, Xander, Kaitlyn and Brayden Beal; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Rucker, Madison Kelley and Sophia Kelley; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Corbin Rucker and Cooper Rucker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
