She was predeceased by: her siblings, Marigene C. Davis, Graddus T. Christian, Jr. and Evelyn C. Hutchinson. She is survived by: her husband Charles Lewis Shurbutt; her daughter Jan Freeman (Sanford) of Hayesville; her granddaughters, Laura Adams (Chris) of Rincon and Jessica Patton (John) of Savannah, Georgia; and her great grandchild Charlotte Patton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
