She was predeceased by: her husband William Bryant "Bill" Bowden, Jr. of Mary's Hospital; and her parents, Charles F. "Charlie" Hammons and Anna Lois Stokes Hammons. She is survived by: her children, Lance Bliss (Jackie) of Artesia, NM, Lorena Welch of Arcadia, FL and Charles Bowling (Terri) of Colbert; and her grandchildren, Melissa Bliss, Emily Hoffman (Eric), David Mills and Desiree Bowling. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
