He was predeceased by: his father Harley Milton Thomason; his daughter Angela Dawn Thomason; his siblings, James M. Thomason, Adeatha Rousey and Judy Dickerson; and his grandson Harley Kane Thomason.
He is survived by: his son James "Jim" Thomason (Mary). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
