She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Oscar Cecil Pless and Lathey Young Pless; her former husband Hamp; and her siblings, Geneva Duncan, Jeanette Shepherd, Cecil Pless, Hubert Pless and Jimmy Pless.
She is survived by: her husband Charles; her children, Marlow, Marilyn Brown of Elberton, Phyllis, Kevin Toney of Hartwell, Dewayne and Rita Brown of Dewy Rose; her stepson Charles "Buck" Bowen, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kristi, Grant Myerholtz, Brian, Heather Toney, Derrick, Amanda Brown, Brooke, Brandon Cawthon, Renae Brown and Luke Brown; and her great grandchildren, Canaan, LilyAnn, Hayden, Braden, Carter, Owen, Korbin and Adalynn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
