It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Flora Hunter (Elberton, Georgia), who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Calvin Hunter, Sr. and Rainey Mae Hunter Dillard (Burns); and her brothers, Samuel Calvin Hunter, Jr. and Irving Bernard Hunter. She is survived by: her children, Adam Gerran Bernard Hunter and Genet Almaz Toles (Ronald); her grandchildren, Josiah and Brielle; and her siblings, Diedre Hunter, Claudette Jones, George Alvin Israel (Barbara) and Carol Bland (Haywood). She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, extended family.
