Gleta Mainer Bailes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gleta Mainer Bailes (Elberton, Georgia), born in Paris, Arkansas, who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jennings Bryan Mainer and Maggie Neace Mainer Gossett; her husband David William Bailes; her daughter Marcia Smith Jackson; her great grandchild Marcus Lane Kelley; and her former husbands, Cecil Smith and Joseph Daly.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Smith (Sarah Lynn), Jeffery Smith and Missy Cobb. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; six great-great- grandchildren.
