He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Earl Grimes and Shirley Smith Grimes Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Toni Annette Kay Grimes; his son Richard 'Dale Grimes (Dawn) of Anderson, SC; his granddaughters, Kathryn Elizabeth Grimes and Abigail Corrina Grimes; and his siblings, Eddie Grimes of Bowersville and Pam Gurley of Elberton.
Due to COVID-19, a private crypt side service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, at the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Bill Jones officiating.
