He is survived by: his children, Brenda Gaines, Ricky Rucker, Marcia McCord, Lisa Buggs, Stephanie McCord-Hollis and Christopher McCord Sr. Michael McCord Sr.; and his siblings, James Jones and Bessie Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
