He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hardy Hughes of Atlanta, GA; his children, Jerome Hughes (Tia) of Elberton, GA, Lajarvis Hughes (Mimi) of Elberton, GA, Reneathia Carpenter of Elberton, GA, Rafel Williams of New York and Tameika Hughes Rhodes of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Bobbie Sue Allen of Elberton, GA, Phyllis Lewis of Elberton, GA, Johnny Hughes of Elberton, GA, Donnie Hughes (Patricia) of Elberton, GA and Ronnie Hughes (Shirley) of Elberton, GA; his sister-in-law Adell Hughes of Elberton, GA; and his aunt Everlena Alexander of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, special friend, special niece.
