She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Seaborn Dye Sr. and Ruby Inez Smith Dye; her son John Woodard; and her siblings, Floyd Dye Jr., Thomas Dye, Dora Dye, Betty Bond, Kathleen Griffith and Mary Anne McGee.

She is survived by: her sons, Howard Woodard (Joan) of Jacksonville, FL and Joseph Woodard (Sharon) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Heather Liston, Jody Mathis, Christopher Woodard, Jessica Woodard and Allen Woodard; and her sisters, Sara McCannon of Elberton, GA and Dr. Linda Dye of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
