He is survived by: his mother Annie Morrow Scott; his wife Susan Hawthorne Scott; and his sons, Robert "Bob" Lamar Scott of Elberton, GA, Ken Scott of Elberton, GA and Daniel Scott of Elberton, GA. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
