It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Lee Downer of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Valerie "Val" Downer; and his stepdaughter Tanisha Hardman. He is survived by: his wife Senita Hardman Downer; his children, Tamekia Loyd (Andre), Denise Huff (Jasper) and Eddie Downer (TreAna); his stepsons, Corey Hardman, Derell Hardman (Vanessa) and Quintay Young; his siblings, Dorothy Davis, Charlene Bradford, Ann Downer, Willie "Pete" Downer and Kenneth Downer (Felecia); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Downer, Cynthia Hardman, James Eberhardt (Vanessa), Tony Hardman and Edward Hardman (Kim); his grandchildren, Jaslyn Huff, Emorej Downer, Jaleyah Huff, Andre Loyd, III and Kajaira Hardman; and his nieces and nephews, Latoya Downer-Cox (Marcus), Kennlecia Downer, Camille Downer, Darius Downer, AnTwan Downer, Ashuad Downer, Rocco, Larry "Bear" Davis and Stanley Allen. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
