We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2021, at the age of 69, Duane Parker Teter of Elberton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Marion Teter and Wanda Maxine Updike (Keller); his stepfather Frederick Maxwell Updike; his brothers, Burnell and Richard Bosserman; and his father-in-law James Rierson.

He is survived by: his wife Terry P. Teter of Elberton, GA; his daughter Lori; his son-in-law Tim Harper of Elberton, GA; his son Ryan; his daughter-in-law Heather Teter of Tallahassee, FL; his grandsons, Zachary Harper, Luke Harper and Matthew Harper; his mother-in-law Audrey Rierson of Monroe, GA; and his stepbrother Frederick Miller Updike of Port Huron, MI..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
